Ohio senator J.D. Vance has been happily married to his wife, Usha Chilukuri, for almost ten years. Usha, a litigator for the law firm Munger, Tolles, & Olson, tied the knot with J.D. in 2014 after meeting him at Yale Law School.

Usha, who was the managing editor of the Yale Journal of Law & Technology during her time in school, is licensed to practice law in California, Ohio, and the District of Columbia. The couple shares three children together named Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel.

Recently, J.D. celebrated Vivek’s fourth birthday by reading a classic Dr. Seuss book to him. Despite not being able to be with his son for his birthday dinner, J.D. expressed his love and read to Vivek as a special gesture.

J.D. Vance is also known for his bestselling memoir, Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis, which was published in 2016. The book delves into his upbringing in Middletown, Ohio, and the struggles faced by white working-class Americans. The memoir received critical acclaim and was adapted into a movie in 2020 starring Amy Adams and Glenn Close.

As J.D. Vance continues his political career, his wife Usha Chilukuri remains by his side, supporting him in his endeavors. The couple’s love story and family life add a personal touch to Vance’s public image.
