Kumawood actor, LilWin, has opened up about the challenges he faces in his acting career. The popular actor revealed that the toughest role for him to play in movies is a romantic role.
Despite eventually taking on romantic roles in films, LilWin confessed that he feels uncomfortable and shy when portraying such characters on screen. He expressed his discomfort during an interview with 3Xtra’s King Kwaku Mensa while promoting his movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’.
LilWin stated, “There’s no character I have not played. The only role I’m not comfortable with is romance or love roles. I feel shy to even kiss another character although I will do it, it makes me feel uneasy.”
He emphasized that romantic roles are better suited for actors like Van Vicker and Majid, who excel in portraying such characters convincingly.
Recalling a challenging moment on set, LilWin shared an experience where he had to portray a disabled person during an impromptu scene after being asked to improvise. Despite the difficulties he faces in certain roles, LilWin continues to showcase his versatility as an actor.
His upcoming movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’, is set to premiere on May 17 at the National Theatre in Accra. Fans can look forward to seeing LilWin in a different light as he takes on a new and engaging role in the film.
