A 38-year-old mother of three, Martina Jones, recently shared a harrowing experience of a vicious attack by her estranged husband, Collins Jones.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, May 6, 2024, following multiple threats made by her husband.
In a chilling account, Martina revealed that her husband, Collins, attacked her while she was asleep around 3:00 am. She described the terrifying moment when he hit her head with a heavy stick and then proceeded to smash her forehead with a pestle, causing her to bleed profusely.
Despite her pleas for mercy, Collins continued to assault her, even attempting to strangle her as she fought for her life. Martina managed to break free and escape to the kitchen, with Collins in pursuit. Fortunately, her children intervened, begging their father to stop, giving her the opportunity to flee the house.
Neighbours assisted Martina in reporting the incident to the police and taking her to the hospital for medical treatment. Shockingly, she later learned that her husband had set himself on fire, resulting in his death.
Martina expressed bewilderment at the events, stating that there were no prior issues in their marital life. She also mentioned that her husband did not drink or smoke, adding to her confusion about his drastic actions.
