Berekum Chelsea skipper Zakaria Fuseini is not giving up on his team’s chances of winning the Ghana Premier League this season.

Despite currently sitting in eighth place on the league table with 41 points, eleven points behind leaders Samartex, Fuseini believes that there is still a chance for his team to make a late push for the title.

Chelsea will face Hearts of Oak in a crucial match on Wednesday at the Golden City Park, and a victory for the Berekum-based club could move them up the standings. With only five games left in the season, the former Black Meteors defender is determined to keep his team in the title race.

In an interview with Ghanafuo.com, Fuseini expressed his optimism, saying, “It’s not all over yet, there is still hope until the league is over.” He remains focused on helping his team secure a win against Hearts of Oak, stating, “We are well concentrated and much determined ahead of the hearts game. We are going all out to pick all the maximum 3 points.”

The highly anticipated match between Berekum Chelsea and Hearts of Oak was originally set to take place last weekend but was postponed due to a Durbar event at the venue. Both teams are coming off defeats in their previous Premier League matches, with Chelsea losing 3-2 to Legon Cities and Hearts of Oak falling short against Accra Lions in week 28.

Despite the setbacks, Zakaria Fuseini and Berekum Chelsea are ready to bounce back and continue their pursuit of the Ghana Premier League title. The upcoming clash with Hearts of Oak will be a crucial test for both teams as they aim to reignite their championship aspirations.
