A popular Ghanaian actress, Habiba Sinare, recently shared her thoughts on the ongoing power outages in the country, commonly known as ‘dumsor.
‘ During a conversation on United Showbiz, she expressed her belief that organizing a protest against the power outages would be unnecessary.
Sinare emphasized that the government is aware of the challenges and would have taken action if they intended to do so. She questioned the need for protests, pointing out that Ghana’s struggles have not gone unnoticed by the international media.
“I won’t join any protest. Who said they don’t know we are suffering? What haven’t we done in this country for the International media to pick it up? Where are we? We are still where we are and worse. Ghana is a small country and we shouldn’t go through what we are going through,” Sinare stated.
The actress made it clear that she believes participating in a protest would be a waste of time and urged for more effective solutions to address the pressing issues faced by the country.
