French-born Ghanaian Grejohn Kyei delivers assist in Clermont Foot’s big win over Stade Reims

Grejohn Kyei, the French-born Ghanaian striker, put on a spectacular performance to lead Clermont Foot to a stunning 4-1 victory over Stade Reims in the French Ligue 1.

The 28-year-old was given a starting role and did not disappoint as his team secured a resounding win on home soil.

Kyei showcased his talent by providing an assist that helped his team dominate Reims at the Stade Gabriel-Montpied. The match started with Muhammed-Cham Saracevic opening the scoring for the home team in the 31st minute from the penalty spot. However, Reims quickly responded with a goal from Keito Nakamura in the 33rd minute, leaving both teams level at halftime.

In the second half, Clermont Foot showed their determination and skill as they pushed for victory. Saracevic scored his second goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 56th minute to put his team in the lead. Kosovo international Elbasan Rashani then stepped up with two crucial goals to secure the win for the hosts. He scored in the 79th minute after being set up by Kyei and added another goal in stoppage time to seal the victory.

With this outstanding performance, Kyei has now scored two goals and provided an assist in 23 games in the French Ligue 1.

The Ghanaian forward’s contribution was instrumental in Clermont Foot’s impressive win over Stade Reims, showcasing his talent and potential on the field.
