Ghanaian striker Abdul Aziz Yakubu scores to help Rio Ave to hold Vizela in a 1-1 draw

Ghanaian forward, Abdul Aziz Yakubu, was the standout performer for Rio Ave in their recent Portuguese Primeira Liga match against FC Vizela.

The talented striker found the back of the net in the 4th minute of the game with a clinical finish, assisted by Umaro Embalo.

Despite his early goal, Rio Ave couldn’t maintain their lead as FC Vizela equalized in the 67th minute through Samuel Essende.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams unable to secure the winning goal in the second half.

Abdul Aziz Yakubu’s goal on Saturday took his tally to six for the season, along with one assist, from 16 league appearances.

The Ghanaian international continues to impress with his goal-scoring prowess and will be looking to add to his tally in the remaining matches of the season.

Rio Ave will be hoping for more standout performances from Abdul Aziz Yakubu as they aim to climb up the Primeira Liga table in the coming weeks.
