Thatcher Demko’s wife, Lexie Shaw, is not just a real estate agent hailing from Troy, Michigan.
She also has a strong history with ice hockey that many are eager to learn more about. Lexie’s love for the sport started early on, as she played ice hockey in college and even worked as an instructor at Point Blank Hockey School from 2010 to 2013.
While studying at the University of North Dakota, Lexie played on the women’s ice hockey team and was even named the Defensive Player of the Month in October 2016. After graduating in 2017, she pursued a career in real estate and joined RE/MAX Defined as part of The Shaw Team.
Thatcher and Lexie tied the knot on July 16, 2022, in a private ceremony in San Diego, California. Although the details of how their romance started remain a mystery, the couple has been together since 2019. After getting engaged in August 2021, Lexie shared the exciting news on Instagram with photos of their beach engagement.
In August 2023, Thatcher and Lexie welcomed their first child, a son named Dawson. Lexie proudly introduced Dawson to the world on Instagram, posting sweet photos and expressing her excitement. The couple’s son has already shown his support for his dad during games, as seen during the 2024 All-Star Weekend where he sported a t-shirt with Thatcher’s numbers and the word “Daddy” printed on it.
