Bochum will have to make do without the services of Ghanaian winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei in their upcoming home match against TSG Hoffenheim on matchday 31.

The 30-year-old player picked up his fifth yellow card during their recent game against VfL Wolfsburg, leading to an automatic suspension.

Currently sitting in 15th place on the Bundesliga table with 27 points from 30 games, Bochum finds themselves in a precarious position. With three losses and two draws in their last five league matches, the team is on a slippery slope towards the relegation zone.

Antwi-Adjei has been a pivotal player for Bochum this season, featuring in 23 Bundesliga games and contributing one goal and two assists. His absence will undoubtedly be felt as Bochum aims to secure a much-needed victory against TSG Hoffenheim and climb up the league standings.

With just four games left in the season, Bochum will need to rally together and put in a strong performance to avoid the threat of relegation looming over them.

The team will have to dig deep and find a way to cope without Antwi-Adjei as they strive for a positive result in their upcoming fixture.
