Popular dancer DanceGod Llyod has cleared the air about any alleged bad blood between him and his former manager at DWP Academy, Quables.
Quables had called out DanceGod Llyod for celebrating his verification on TikTok, claiming that in Ghana, dancers only celebrate verification when they have nothing else going on for them.
This led to speculation about a sour relationship between the two, especially after DanceGod Llyod abruptly left DWP Academy in 2022 without informing anyone.
However, in an interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon, DanceGod Llyod revealed that he still considers Quables a friend and expressed confusion over the tweet aimed at him. He emphasized that he has no grudges against Quables and that they had a successful partnership in the past.
DanceGod Llyod also clarified that a tweet he made last year was not directed at Quables but was a general comment reflecting his experiences in the industry. He explained that he left the academy to pursue his own career goals and help others in the process.
Both DanceGod Llyod and Quables co-founded the DWP Academy after reconnecting at a dance shoot scene. Despite being acquaintances in secondary school, they became closer through their shared passion for dance and established a reputable training ground for upcoming dancers.
DanceGod Llyod emphasized that he has always been passionate about dancing and is grateful for the opportunities that have come his way. He dismissed any insinuations of a feud with Quables and expressed his love and respect for his former partner in the dance industry.
