Emmanuel Gyamfi, the talented winger for Aduana FC, has left the door open for a possible return to Asante Kotoko, his former club. The 29-year-old, who captained the Porcupine Warriors in the 2021/22 season under coach Prosper Ogum, expressed his concerns about the current struggles of the club.

During his time at Asante Kotoko, Gyamfi helped the team secure the Ghana Premier League title before departing to join Aduana FC three seasons ago. With Kotoko currently sitting at 11th on the league table and having won just one game in 2024, the club is facing a challenging period.

When asked about the possibility of rejoining Asante Kotoko, Gyamfi did not dismiss the idea, stating, “I can’t expose my contract with Aduana on air but to tell everyone that I am a footballer and whoever comes for me with a good offer and terms, likely, I will join the team.”

The strained relations between management and fans due to the team’s recent poor performance have added to the uncertainty surrounding Asante Kotoko.
