Italian-born Ghanaian defender, Giuseppe Agyemang, is on a mission to help Ancona secure their spot in Serie C with a recent 3-1 victory over Sestri Levante bringing them closer to safety.

With only three points separating Ancona from the danger zone, Agyemang understands the importance of their upcoming matches. The defender, who found the back of the net in the win against Sestri Levante, stressed the significance of unity within the team.

“In the dressing room, we all understand the importance of securing safety and we are determined to achieve it no matter what. It is our main goal,” Agyemang stated. “We are fully aware of the crucial nature of our next two games, and we are focused on one outcome.”

Upcoming fixtures against Pescara on April 21st and Lucchese on April 28th will be decisive in Ancona’s fate. Agyemang believes that the team’s togetherness will be key to their survival bid.

“The willingness of everyone to contribute, even those who are injured or suspended, is vital in creating a strong team bond. This cohesion will be essential in ensuring our safety,” he explained.

Agyemang has been a key player for Ancona this season, featuring in nine matches and scoring twice in Serie C. As the team gears up for their final games, Agyemang’s determination and dedication could play a crucial role in their fight for survival.
