Angry Asante Kotoko fans protest at training ground

Angry supporters of Asante Kotoko made their voices heard on Tuesday as they protested against the team’s recent poor performance and called for the sacking of head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table, with no wins in their last seven matches. The team has suffered six losses and managed only one draw during this period.

Approximately 50 fans stormed the Adako Jachie training complex to show their displeasure. Initially, they blocked all players and coaching staff from entering the training pitch. However, following discussions with club official Emmanuel Dasoberi, the fans allowed the players to proceed with their training session.

Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his assistant David Ocloo were notably absent during the incident. Club officials are set to meet with representatives from various supporters groups later today in an attempt to address the issue.

The team is expected to resume full training on Wednesday in preparation for their upcoming match against Samartex FC.
