Jacksonville-based rapper Yungeen Ace, known for his hit songs Who I Smoke and Opps, was recently arrested on April 15, 2024 in Florida.
The artist, whose real name is Keyanta Bullard, gained fame for his unique musical style and meaningful lyrics.
The arrest took place in Jacksonville, Florida, after the driver of a rented SUV failed to stop at an intersection. Police discovered seven loaded guns in the vehicle, three of which were found in Yungeen Ace’s possession. His arrest was made on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, which was a violation of his probation terms. The rapper was previously sentenced to 31 months of probation for an accessory charge in 2017.
Yungeen Ace’s life has not been without tragedy, as in June 2018, he survived a drive-by shooting that claimed the lives of three individuals, including his younger brother Trevon. The rapper himself was wounded by eight bullets and was in critical condition before being released from the hospital on June 9.
Despite facing personal challenges, Yungeen Ace continues to make music and connect with his fans. He released his most recent album, Forgotten Star, on March 29, 2024. The artist’s resilience and dedication to his craft have made him a prominent figure in the music industry.
