Ghanaian strikers Zubairu Ibrahim and Kwaku Karikari were instrumental in FK Jedinstvo Ub’s recent 2-0 victory over Dubočica in the Serbian league.
The dynamic duo each scored a goal to secure their team’s second place in the standings as they head into the playoffs.
Both Zubairu and Karikari played key roles in the match, with Zubairu finding the back of the net in the 73rd minute and Karikari breaking the deadlock in the 52nd minute. Despite a strong start from the home team, the first half ended in a stalemate as Dubočica’s defense held firm.
Dubočica made attempts to turn the game around in the second half, but FK Jedinstvo Ub’s defense stood strong, denying them any clear opportunities.
With their impressive performances, Zubairu, a former King Faisal player, has scored ten goals and Karikari has scored 12 goals for their team this season.
