Target Circle members are in luck this spring with the retailer’s latest car seat trade-in event happening in April 2024. This special promotion allows participating customers to trade in old car seats to receive a discount on select items.
The process for trading in old car seats is simple and outlined on Target’s Car Seat Trade-in Event page. Customers can drop off their old car seats at a nearby Target location and scan the QR code on the designated box to add the bonus to their Target Circle account. The bonus will then be available in the Target app Wallet for redemption on up to two qualifying purchases.
The car seat trade-in event started on April 14 and will run until April 27, 2024. Target will accept and recycle all types of car seats, including infant, convertible, booster, and expired or damaged seats. Customers who participate in the trade-in event will receive a 20% off bonus that can be applied towards the purchase of a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller, or select baby home gear. The bonus can be used up to two times before it expires on May 11, 2024.
Qualifying baby home gear that customers can purchase with the bonus includes playards, rockers, swings, high chairs, walkers, entertainers, bouncers, and jumpers. Target Circle members are encouraged to take advantage of this special promotion to save on essential baby products during this limited-time event.
