Black Queens head coach Nora Häuptle was present in the stands on Sunday to witness striker Evelyn Badu score her first goal for her new club FC Fleury 91 Féminines in France.
Badu, who is a member of the Ghana women’s national team, started for her team in their league match against Bordeaux women and put in an outstanding performance, opening her goal-scoring account in the process.
The talented forward not only found the back of the net but also played a crucial role in helping her team secure a 3-0 victory. Following the game, coach Nora Häuptle congratulated Badu on her impressive performance and first goal for her new club, exchanging pleasantries with the young attacker.
Häuptle, who is in France on a scouting mission, is carefully monitoring players as part of the preparation for the 2024 WAFCON tournament in Morocco.
