Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Uruguayan international Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus in a deal that can reach €25 million.
Juventus have issued an official statement on the club website confirming that midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has completed a transfer to Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur on the deadline day.
The 24-year-old arrived at Juventus in 2017 from South American giants Boca Juniors and quickly became a regular in the middle of the park.
He made 181 appearances for the Bianconeri, racking up a tally of three goals and 18 assists.
Capped 46 times by the Uruguayan national team, Bentancur had seen his form dip in recent months, which led to him losing his starting spot in a few games under Massimiliano Allegri.
And, the midfielder has now severed ties with the Serie A bigwigs, securing a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.
