German third-tier club Dynamo Dresden has made a significant signing for the upcoming 2024/25 season, securing the services of talented German-born Ghanaian defender, Dennis Duah.
The 20-year-old central defender, who stands at an impressive 1.90 meters, will be making the move from Hamburger SV to Dynamo Dresden, where he is expected to bring his strong and robust style of play to the team.
Duah, who has already garnered a wealth of experience despite his young age, has been a key player for Hamburger SV’s second team. Starting his football journey at VfL Lohbrügge, he later moved to FC St. Pauli’s youth department before joining Hamburger SV’s juniors.
David Fischer, Managing Director of Communications at Dynamo Dresden, expressed his excitement about the acquisition of Duah. “Dennis is an impressive player with his athleticism and strong tackling capabilities. His speed and physicality will add further stability to our defense. Despite his young age, he already has a high level of experience and has shown leadership qualities on the field. We believe he has great potential for development, and we are looking forward to seeing him grow in the years to come,” Fischer said.
Having played 71 games for Hamburger SV’s second team in the Regionalliga Nord, Duah has proven himself as a leader by captaining the team this season. His addition to Dynamo Dresden is expected to strengthen the team’s defense and bring a new dynamic to their style of play.
