German-born Ghanaian forward Ragnar Ache put on a commendable performance for FC Kaiserslautern in a tight match against Greuther Fürth in the German Bundesliga 2. Despite Ache’s efforts, FC Kaiserslautern suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Greuther Fürth on Friday evening.

The head-to-head record between the two teams favored FC Kaiserslautern, with 10 wins compared to Greuther Fürth’s 4. However, Greuther Fürth managed to turn the tables in their favor in this particular match.

Ache showcased his skills by scoring a left-footed goal from close range in the 18th minute, assisted by Marlon Ritter. His goal gave FC Kaiserslautern an early lead, but Greuther Fürth’s Robert Wagner responded with two goals in the 53rd and 90+5th minutes to clinch the victory for his team.

The game also featured other German-born Ghanaians, with Richmond Tachie and Aaron Opoku joining Ache on FC Kaiserslautern’s side, while defender Gideon Jung played for Greuther Fürth.
