Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca has shown his support for his players after a recent run of missed opportunities.

Maresca, who is in charge of the young squad, including Ghana’s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, believes that mistakes are part of the learning process for these players.

During a press conference before their upcoming match against Plymouth Argyle, Maresca addressed the team’s performance in their last game, a 1-0 loss to Milwall. Despite the disappointing result, Maresca urged his players to focus on the challenges ahead and keep moving forward.

Maresca acknowledged the missed chances by players like Stephy Mavididi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Patson Daka, Ricardo Pereira, Abdul Fatawu, and Yunus Akgün. He emphasized that scoring goals is important, but it’s all part of the game. He reassured the players that everyone misses chances and it’s a normal part of being a footballer.

Although Leicester City is currently at the top of the Championship standings, their lead has diminished, and they are now tied on points with Ipswich Town.

However, Maresca remains confident in his team’s abilities and is looking forward to the upcoming matches. The young players, including Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, are determined to improve and continue learning from their experiences on the field.
