Mr. Logic, an entertainment expert, has expressed worry over gospel musician Broda Sammy’s recent statements on the gospel music industry and fellow artist Nacee.
According to him, Broda Sammy is a “gangster” in the industry who should’slow down’.
This comes after Broda Sammy unleashed a series of vitriolic attacks on another artist Nacee, accusing him of ruining his chances of winning a TGMA award.
He stated that the only way he could get an award was if Nacee died.
On April 8, 2024, Mr. Logic told Hitz FM that he was troubled by the comment and hoped it was meant in joke.
“I suppose he was just joking. But honestly, if he made a serious comment and meant it, he should be brought to court. “I was not pleased when I saw the headline,” he remarked.
Mr. Logic underlined Nacee’s contributions to the business as a songwriter and vocalist, stating that his efforts in developing other gospel artists outperformed Broda Sammy’s.
He stated that Broda Sammy will never be able to equal Nacee’s level.
“I can certainly assert that Broda Sammy is no match for Nacee. He’s not as competitive as Nacee. Nacee is both a lyricist and an excellent vocalist. Nacee has developed more gospel artists than Broda Sammy. Nacee has worked more than anybody else in the gospel music industry. “To me, Broda Sammy is just a singer,” he explained.
Mr Logic also attacked Broda Sammy’s approach to competitiveness and his public statements about his colleagues’ financial condition, urging him to cease such “materialistic” thinking.
“I read another item where he stated that all of his colleagues are broke and live in leased homes. The fact that you constructed a house does not imply that the other person will or will not build one.
“Praising vanity, worldly possessions, and boasting about how wealthy you are when other people are poor, among other things. I oppose this materialistic style of thinking. “The industry should get away from some of these games,” Mr Logic stated.
