The National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has accused his opponent, Madam Lydia Alhassan, of lacking campaign and policy ideas.
According to John Dumelo, the incumbent MP for the Constituency lacks originality because she has become known for mimicking his campaign tactics and ideas.
“I handed out pens a few days ago to kids on campus. “She is never original in her ideas,” the NDC parliamentary candidate stated in an X post.
John Dumelo’s comment came in response to Lydia Alhassan’s post on X, which showed her delivering pens to University of Ghana students after their end-of-semester examinations.

According to John Dumelo, he had previously distributed pens to the pupils before to their assessment, therefore his opponent’s attempt was a replica of his idea.
