Hopeson Adorye, a fervent New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporter and husband to artist Empress Gifty, has underlined the importance of couples understanding one other.
According to him, because her wife is a musician, which he knows very well, he has allowed her the freedom to attend to her professional tasks without bothering her with phone calls or tracking her location.
He stated that their mutual understanding has helped them maintain their marriage to date, with fewer obstacles that may have impacted them.
Hopeson urged young men in relationships not to put undue pressure on their partners by checking their phones for messages and calling them while they are not at home.
“If I purchase a phone, I get it for her. Young guys should take this advice: if you love someone, don’t read her phone texts. Sometimes she arrives late, and I am sleeping.
“Because I understand her vocation, I have given her the flexibility to do as she sees fit. I’m not going to contact to find out where she is since I don’t want to put any pressure on her. “She sometimes questions why I do that,” she remarked during an Angel FM interview with Ohemaa Woyeje.
