Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as LilWin, has stated why he chose to include Nigerian actors in his film project ‘A Country Called Ghana.’

According to him, adding foreign stars will assist to resuscitate the Ghanaian film industry while also allowing him to grow his image as a movie producer.

He complained about how Ghanaians didn’t talk about other projects that starred Ghanaians but were ready to criticize him for using Nigerian actors.

In a video published by Express GH TV on YouTube, LilWin asked, “Are we meant to advance or retrogress in life? If we want to advance, we must do things that will make our fans happy.

I’ve worked with a number of Ghanaian musicians and actors on various film projects, but nobody has talked about it. Were these individuals Togolese?

“My film productions, including ‘Mr. President’, ‘Papa No’, and many more, included Ghanaians like as Maame Dokono and co. We grumble that the film business is repetitive, yet when you try to introduce anything fresh, people protest. I can’t compete on the same level, therefore incorporating foreign actors will allow me to thrive more.”

Ramsey Nouah and Awilo Sharp Sharp are among the Nigerian actors who appear in LilWin’s ‘A Country Called Ghana’.
