Musician and politician Kwame A Plus has revealed that gays will be permitted to exercise their humanitarian rights in the country of Ghana regardless of her morals.
According to the blunt character, the country has no choice than accept the LGBTQ+ trend due to our dependence on countries like the United States of America.
He continued;
“How can you go for grants from a country that has legalized gay rights to build your country. You have gold, bauxite and even oil but the country is struggling.
Have you seen someon going to jail for causing financial laws to the State? This should be the utmost priority of of Parliament.
I am not saying someone should go and practice gay acts however because the Ministers are constanstaly embezzling funds and aren’t prosecuted, we have no option than to go these countries who allow LGBTQ+ in their terms in their negotiations”.
He stressed the first gentleman of the land Nana Akufuffo Addo is never going to sign the bill into a law to avoid sanctions on Ghana.
Kwame who has always been direct with his submissions stated that people are just being overly aggressive with the issue but the country has no choice than to accept it sadly.
The Ghanaian Parliament unanimously decided to approve the Bill’s second reading on July 5, 2023, and they also accepted some minor revisions that the Committee on Constitutional, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs had suggested.
The bill was passed by the Parliament on February 28, 2024, with a unanimous majority.
