Location sharing on WhatsApp is known to be a feature that allows you to share your current location or live location with your contacts.
However, when a user shares your current location, WhatsApp uses your device’s GPS to pinpoint your exact location and share it with the selected contact or group. How to share your location on WhatsApp for iPhone users:
1. Ensure to open WhatsApp on your iPhone.
2. Tap on “Chats,” if not already selected.
3. Click or tap on the group or person that you want to share your location with.
4. Tap on the plus sign in the bottom-left corner.
5. Tap and press on “Location.”
6. You can either select “Send Your Current Location” or “Share Live Location.”

How to share your location on WhatsApp for Android users:
1. Open WhatsApp on your Android device.
2. Press or tap on “Chats,” if not already selected.
3. Tap on the group or person that you want to share your location with.
4. Ensure to click and/or tap on the paperclip icon at the bottom of the screen.
5. Tap on the location icon.
6. Meanwhile, a user can optionally either select “Send Your Current Location” or “Share.
7. Live Location.”
8.Tap “Send.”
