Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence have been married for over three decades, sharing many significant milestones together.

The couple first crossed paths when Sir Timothy was working as an equerry for the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Sir Timothy Laurence is a retired Royal Navy officer, born on March 1, 1955, in Camberwell, London.

He attended the New Beacon Prep Sevenoaks School in Kent and later studied geography at the University of Durham on a naval scholarship.

Throughout his career, he rose through the ranks to become Vice Admiral before retiring from the Navy in 2010.

In 1987, Sir Timothy and Princess Anne met, eventually leading to their marriage on December 12, 1992, at Crathie Kirk near Balmoral.

The pair had to travel to Scotland for their wedding due to restrictions in the Church of England regarding remarriage for divorced individuals.

Despite not having any children together, Princess Anne has two children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, from her previous marriage.

Peter has two daughters with his ex-wife Autumn Kelly and is currently in a relationship with Lindsay Wallace.

Zara is married to former England rugby player Mike Tindall, with whom she shares three children.

Sir Timothy served as equerry to the Queen from 1986 to 1989, before pursuing other interests and becoming involved in various organizational roles, such as Chairman of the English Heritage Trust and Chair of the Science Museum Group.

The couple has been residing together at the Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire since their marriage.

Their enduring partnership has been described by a friend of Sir Timothy as a deep friendship that goes beyond physical attraction, providing Princess Anne with a trusted confidant and source of support.
