Whit Johnson, a well-known news anchor for ABC World News Tonight and Good Morning America on the weekends, is married to fellow news anchor, Andrea Fujii. Here is everything you need to know about her.

Andrea Fujii, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, is a correspondent for ABC News based in New York. Despite initially studying law at Santa Clara University, Andrea realized during her third year of law school that her passion lay in broadcast journalism.

She made the brave decision to switch careers and has since worked for various news stations, including CBS and NBC. As of February 2024, Andrea is a correspondent for ABC News, where she continues to excel in her field.

Whit and Andrea first met while she was working in Washington, D.C., and he was just starting his career. Despite starting off as friends, their relationship blossomed, and they tied the knot on August 11, 2007.

The couple later moved to New York City to further their careers with ABC News. They are proud parents to two daughters, Leah and Summer.

In a touching tribute to his daughters, Whit shared a heartfelt poem he wrote called A Father’s Oath, showcasing his love and commitment to his girls. The couple’s love story continues to inspire many, both on and off the air.
