Tish Cyrus, famous for being the mother of Miley Cyrus, found love in an unexpected place – her Instagram DMs.
In a recent podcast episode of Call Her Daddy, Tish shared that she had a longtime crush on Dominic Purcell, known for his role in Prison Break, before they officially started dating.
Their relationship started when Purcell messaged Tish on Instagram in 2016, complimenting her on her family and work. However, Tish did not see the message until a year later due to being blocked by Purcell’s ex-girlfriend.
The couple eventually connected and went on to have a three-hour make-out session during their first lunch date in July 2022. They professed their love for each other just one day later.
With their romance heating up, Tish and Purcell publicly announced their engagement in April 2023 and wasted no time in tying the knot. The couple got married less than a year after their engagement, on August 19, 2023, in a beautiful ceremony in Malibu, California.
Miley Cyrus, Tish’s daughter, was her maid of honor, making the day even more special for the family. Despite not having children together, Tish and Purcell have a blended family with nine children from previous relationships.
