Netflix has released a new docuseries titled American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders, featuring the researcher Christian Hansen. The show follows Hansen as he delves into a massive government conspiracy.
Hansen, a photojournalist, developed an interest in the Octopus Murders conspiracy while in college. His investigation began with studying The Wackenhut Corporation and stumbling upon an article about Danny Casolaro in Spy magazine, sparking his fascination with the case.
Throughout the series, Hansen continues Casolaro’s investigation, aiming to uncover new information and solve the mystery surrounding Casolaro’s death.
Despite risking his safety, Hansen travels across the United States to interview key persons connected to the case, including Michael Riconosciuto, Casolaro’s main contact. Hansen even faced being blindfolded by an armed informant during filming.
Hansen hopes that the series will inspire viewers to conduct their own research and delve into the mysteries of the world. He emphasizes the importance of thorough investigation and the rewarding nature of the process.
American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders will begin streaming on Netflix on February 28, 2024, with all four episodes available to subscribers. The episodes range from 45 minutes to an hour in length.
