At Kasoa Adade in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central region, a 30-year-old Nigerian man has been taken into custody on charges of sodomizing a 12-year-old kid.
According to sources, Joshua Benson, the suspect, is well-known to the victim’s family and resides close by.
According to information obtained, the suspect presents the kids with gifts in an attempt to entice them to have sex with him.
He allegedly threatened the victim not to notify anyone after sodomizing him, but the victim who was in excruciating pain told his parents.
He was quickly taken into custody when the victim’s parents reported the incident to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU).
It was also discovered that other kids in the area had experienced the same tragedy.
