Afua Asantewaa is still being criticized by Ghanaians for choosing to conceal the fact that her effort at a sing-a-thon in December had been disqualified by Guinness World Records (GWR).
Guinness told Afua Asantewaa that her attempt to break the record for the longest singing marathon was unsuccessful somewhere in the last few weeks.
Nevertheless, Afua Asantewaa remained silent about it according to this source, even though she sought out support from Ghanaians and created a lot of commotion when her attempt was over.
She really paid $750 for a priority assessment of her evidence, something she informed Ghanaians about once again.
But Afua Asantewaa remained silent after Guinness told her that her application had been denied.
The details were not made public until GWR published them in response to questions from Ghanaians.
Following Chris-Vincent, the founding editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com, labeling Asantewaa as dishonest, the comment was made.
In response to her rejection, a netizen stated that Afua Asantewaa remained silent because she was content with the prominence her endeavor had earned her—which included numerous ambassadorial agreements—and did not want to be embarrassed by her failure.
“Greed and selfish , I knew she lost it long ago and it’s all about her not losing deals,so after awhile she started disrespecting same Ghanaians who came out for her, saying they are broke and have no life to discuss about her with that her hand bag man.lol,” one netizen commented.
