Afua Asantewaa Breaks Silence Over Abysmal Failure Of Her Sing-A-Ton

An attempt by Afua Asantewaa, CEO of Ghana Outstanding Women Awards Africa (GOWA), to hold the record for the longest singing marathon by an individual in the Guinness World Record has failed.

GWR revealed her disqualification to the public after a devoted admirer inquired about the outcome of her effort.

Afua Asantewaa surprised Ghanaians by receiving her results early in February and receiving a return for the money she paid to expedite them, but she chose not to disclose this information to the public.

After experiencing such disappointment and receiving overwhelming support for her sing-a-thon, Ghanaians have been criticizing her for being untrustworthy.

Afua Asantewaa responded to the circumstance by revealing that the outcome occurred just as she was getting ready to host a significant program that Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo was expected to attend. She promised to share her next course of action with us shortly.

She wrote on social media; “The news of the outcome of my Sing-a-thon attempt came a few minutes as I was preparing to host a gala dinner and the launch of the Lebanese Scholarship Alumni Network attended by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“I would announce my next line of action in a few days. Thank you all for your love and support. When life hands you lemons, turn them into a lemonade. Success is sweetest when snatched out of the jaws of defeat.”
