Omawumi Megbele, a singer from Nigeria, has finally shared her thoughts on having children.
The popular singer’s two children were expected to have a sibling ever since her second child, a boy, came of age.
The award-winning singer announced that she was the newest aunt in town a few hours ago by posting pictures of herself with a newborn on her Instagram page.
The mother of two children thanked her Creator for her new blessings and remarked on how perfectly her name, Omowumi, describes her.
Through a message, she informed womb watchers that she was the newest aunt in town.
While many fans congratulated her on her new blessings, one stylishly questioned whether the mother of two would not have more children in the comment section of her post.
She recognized the singer as Asatta Music and commented on how maternal the singer appeared with the child.
But, big sister, this fits you too much,” she wrote in her letter. See as you carry the pikin for arm”.
In response, Omawumi declared that she was done having children, saying that she had long since given up on having children.
“I do not hang coats, my wife! If e like make e fit me die”.
When Omawumi posted a collage of pictures of herself with her newborn twins a year ago, she received an overwhelming amount of love and prayers in response to her blessing.
Even though Omawumi loves children, she is not ready to have any more, so she clarified to her fans that she was not the mother of the children.
Yet, a well-known figure in the media, Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi, prayed for the mother of two to be granted twins.
In 2019, Omawumi married her beau, Tosin Yusuf, in a customary ceremony held in her hometown of Warri, Delta State. A boy and a girl are the couple’s two children.
In an interview, Omawumi stated that, despite not knowing what factors influenced her husband’s decision, she had chosen to be a mother before he did. With confidence, she said that she had enjoyed her four years as a baby mama and had no plans to get married until they were ready. To her astonishment, though, her husband proposed to her, and they were married.
The performer emphasized that no one has the right to question a woman’s choice to become a mother or father outside of marriage and that having children should only be done out of love.
