Well-known comedian Seyi Law has refuted reports that he regretted backing President Bola Tinubu.

We can all recall and remember that singer Eedris Abdulkareem stated in a recent podcast interview that Seyi Law told him that backing President Bola Tinubu was his biggest mistake.

At a recent event the singer attended, the comedian allegedly apologized to the crowd and even criticized him for his support of Tinubu.

Seyi Law, responding to a widely shared podcast clip on X, refuted Abdulkareem’s assertions, stating that he most likely took his joke seriously.

Thank you for publishing this first, he wrote in his letter. I have been trying to find the person who took a video of me performing. Where did I tell Eedris that my biggest error was, then? Does he truly believe that a joke is real?

In another comment, Seyi Law wrote, “Eedris na person wey I love, but this is not true abeg. “When will I talk about this for your show, @iamshortfamily?”
However, he wasn’t happy with the aforementioned statements made towards him.
