Freda Ayisi, a midfielder for Charlton Athletic, thinks her call-up to the Ghana women’s senior national team is appropriate for her.

Meanwhile, Ayisi was named in Nora Hauptle’s 23-woman squad for the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Zambia later this month.

In addition, the 29-year-old represented England in the initial stages of her career despite being eligible to play for Ghana. Notably, the former midfield player for Arsenal has chosen to wear the West African team’s colors. She has been one of the best-known personalities among others and has exploration features as such.

Though I felt that this was the right time for me to play for Ghana, I could have started playing for them earlier. It’s just a personal decision,” Ayisi told Joy Sports in an exclusive interview.

“I believe this is the right time for me to do it, so I have decided to do it now. I can investigate and give it everything I have. I am good at what I can do, and I will ensure to do the right presentations.” She exclaimed.
