Afua Asantewaa has made fun of people on social media for making her family the target of teasing.
In recent weeks, some internet users have been harassing Afua Asantewaa and her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, online by making disparaging remarks about their marriage.
Afua responded in a video, maybe tired of being pulled along, and poked fun at these criticisms by admitting that a good number of them write her private messages pleading for money.
“Too many people expose their ignorance on social media.
“They comment anyhow with 1gh data and DM [direct message] or meet you in person begging for money or [a] job”,
“Lack of knowledge, many shall perish. They don’t know their contact or email used to register their ghost can easily be tracked,” she said.
It was also brought out by Afua Asantewaa that some people experience intimidation when they see other people on their timelines.
Afua Asantewaa set out to break the Guinness World Record for the longest-singing marathon by an individual on December 24, 2023.
The epic event, which had a record attempt of 126 hours 52 minutes, took place at Akwaaba village.
Following the December 24-29 singing marathon, Afua Asantewaa, the Chief Executive Officer of ASKOF Productions Limited, the organization behind the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards, Miss Kidi Ghana, Teen Queen Ghana, and Pose for Africa, was named a Tourism Ambassador by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
