Twenty-first-century “Noah’s Ark” being built by Ghanaian fishermen. All we know about Noah’s Ark is the biblical account, but in Ghana in the twenty-first century, a group of courageous fishermen from a coastal town have finished constructing what some have called a “mirror” of that famous edifice.
The location of this construction is not well known, but blogger SIKAOFFICIAL has been providing details.
A two-minute video showcasing the advanced status of work on the enormous boat was published by him in his initial post on January 29, 2024.
There are numerous people in the film who appear to be fishermen, and they can be seen painstakingly assembling the construction with just their bare hands and no sophisticated technology.
“This is being built by hand. These guys are actually building this boat with their physical hands with no machines at all; with just some primitive tools and hammers and chisels and all that and they are building this boat.
“Look at how they built it. Just check out these details of the boat and what they’ve actually done… this actually blew my mind looking at the size of this boat and these guys are actually building this whole boat with their own two hands…” a man in the video is heard saying.
In the evening of February 16, 2024, SIKAOFFICIAL posted an updated post with a new video that demonstrated the team’s success with their boat.
The boat is shown being dragged into the water, looking ready and decorated, while bystanders and a few fisherman cheer them on.
