Kwaku Agyeman Kwarteng, the parliamentary candidate for Obuasi West, has expressed gratitude to his supporters for their trust in him to represent the party in the upcoming elections in December.
On Saturday, February 10, Kwaku Agyemang Kwarteng was re-elected by New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in Obuasi West as their parliamentary candidate for the next general elections.
With 440 votes, Kwarteng defeated his primary opponent, Lawrence Nana Obeng Bondah, who only managed 245 votes. The lone female contender, Faustina Oppong, garnered eight votes.
On Monday, February 12, Kwaku Nhyira-Addo celebrated his birthday by appearing on the Asaase Breakfast Show. Kwarteng urged Ghanaians to support the NPP for them to win the upcoming general elections.
In addition to wishing the people of Obuasi a happy birthday, he expressed gratitude for being chosen as their parliamentary candidate for the December elections.
The general elections are the actual challenge in terms of governance in this nation; given the challenging times facing both Ghana and the rest of the world, we must select a leader who can lead Ghana out of its current predicament.
“We ask the people of Ghana to support us, as the NPP is a party that understands the problem, and going forward, we will deliver improved remedies more than we have been able to do so far,” Kwarteng continued.
