The mother of a young child has begged Mohammed Kudus, a football player for Ghana, to contribute to her son’s medical bills after he was hurt while celebrating a goal that the West Ham player scored.
In a brief clip posted on the internet, the mother holding a police hospital medical report claimed that her son was hurt while celebrating Mohammed Kudus’ second goal during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The young child with the double hand injuries has bandages on both hands, and another bandage is being used to support him.
Kudus, it’s your second goal that has injured my son, the woman said, though she was unable to explain how the accident happened. In an internet video, the woman begged for help, saying, “We’ve paid; please intervene for us.”
In his opening game of the competition, Mohammed Kudus, who made his first AFCON appearance for Ghana against Egypt, scored two goals.
Before scoring his second goal in the 2-2 draw, the West Ham player opened the scoring for the Black Stars.
