The murder case of Georgina Asor Botchwey, 25, has been postponed by the Cape Coast High Court Two due to the ailing health of one of the defendants, pastor Michael Darko.

Tuesday, February 13, 2024, is when the case will be summoned back for further proceedings. By then, a panel will have been established to expedite the administration of justice.

This will allow the court to expedite the procedures by holding three weekly sittings on the case, according to Presiding Judge Justice John Mark Nuku Alifo.

Darko was released from the Police Hospital and will be available for further hearings the following week, according to Attorney General’s Office representative Mr. Vincent Enyinako, who was presenting information to the court in the meantime.

He clarified that the other accused party, Christopher Ekow Clark Quansah (Nana Clark), was not present in court on Thursday, February 8, due to Darko’s incapacity to be transported to the court by himself.
