Witnesses said that the Kia Renault was forced to swerve due to a Benz bus traveling in the wrong direction, which resulted in a fatal crash.
Chief Executive Abdulai Yaqoub of Nanumba North Municipality confirmed the event to the media and offered his condolences.
The drivers involved in the accident have been detained and are being held by the police; the nurse’s body has been transported to the hospital morgue by the police.
The Benz bus driver, meanwhile, has provided an inconsistent account of the incident, asserting that he was passing the location before the collision and denied any role in it.
