At a welding shop in Sawaba, a suburb of Tamale, the Northern Regional Capital, a sprinter bus bearing the registration number GN 3421-14 caught fire and was completely destroyed.

After the driver of a commercial vehicle sent the car to a welding shop to have the bumper repaired, there was a fire.

According to the welder, Mr. Nashiru, while working on the vehicle, he spotted dense smoke coming out from the car.

The car was already on fire when he checked. Until the Fire Service arrived, despite the efforts of both employees and bystanders, the fire was out of control. Regretfully, the car was entirely charred beyond saving.

Adom News was informed by ASO. Nasir Abdul Hanan, a spokesman at Sagnarigu Fire Station, that the road’s many speed bumps were the cause of their delayed arrival.

To tackle such circumstances before firemen arrive, Nasir urges shop owners and welders to keep fire extinguishers on available. To lessen mishaps, he exhorts people to practice fire safety.
