Monday morning, in the middle of Lapaz Highway traffic, an unidentified guy was discovered unconscious inside his still-running automobile.
On the stretch, the middle-aged man driving a white, unregistered Elantra failed to proceed even with the green light on, causing a traffic jam. Many commuters pulled up to his automobile curious about the scenario and what was wrong.
Multiple knocks on the driver’s car window did not elicit a response, according to eyewitness Alphonse Kossivi, who described the events.
Officers on duty, with assistance from bystanders, had to smash the car window in order to get to the unresponsive driver after multiple attempts to get his attention had failed.
“I reside in Fadama, and when I saw what was going on, I came to Lapaz to find a ride to Caprice. We walked up to the automobile since the driver was not moving, even though other cars were honking.
“The police hurried him to Lapaz Community Hospital because no one knew where he was going,” Mr. Kossivi told UTV, an Accra-based news organization.
He continued by saying that the driver’s state at the time of discovery suggested that he might be dead.
