Pascaline Edwards, an accomplished actress from Ghana, thinks that people in Ghana should be grateful that comic Funny Face is still alive and able to discuss his financial struggles.
She claims that a lot of people are unable to handle the difficulties the well-known comedian has been facing lately, and regrettably, rather than providing assistance, many have decided to insult him.
Pascaline Edwards stated in a recent interview with Pulse Ghana that only people who have experienced comparable tragedies can truly comprehend Funny Face’s current predicament.
“It’s hardly shocking that Funny Face broke. Yes, this is a really risky case for him. The man has experienced extreme hardships. Why then won’t he be bankrupt? He’s making an effort to gather the fragments. I watch some people disparaging him and calling him names. It’s a good thing he’s still here to admit he’s broke”.
“If you haven’t experienced what he went through before, you might probably think he is not serious. You could do worse if you were in his position,” she further noted.
A few days ago, Funny Face made headlines on social media when he disclosed in a post that he was having financial difficulties, which was preventing him from fulfilling his paternal duties to the fullest extent.
Although some online users, including former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, have donated him 1,000 cedis and asked for additional assistance, others believe he is undeserving of any assistance.
Pascaline Edwards, on the other hand, disagrees, pointing out that she was having some difficult circumstances personally and that these are difficult times for everyone.
“Even though I’m broke, people assume I’m alright because I don’t disclose it, even if I am as well. I’m in the same situation as Funny Face, so please help me if you can,” she said.
