Ghanaian musicians who are craving to have a music collaboration with American rapper, Meek Mill, can take a chance as the rapper has announced reduced rates for his verse.

Meek Mill recently revealed that he charges $250,000 for a verse, but he’s open to negotiating down to $150,000 in the right circumstances. Without a doubt, we believe Ghana will fall under this right circumstance because of the rapper’s love for the country.

Meek Mill later explained that his value extends beyond chart performance. In addition to a verse, artists gain access to their extensive audience, boasting tens of millions of engaged followers.

Meek Mill emphasized the opportunity for collaboration to enhance an artist’s reach, providing data, fanbase opportunities, and extensive marketing.

Who is Meek Mill you may ask, Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he embarked on his music career as a battle rapper and later formed a short-lived rap group, The Bloodhounds.

In 2016, Meek Mill spent $50,000 to donate 60,000 Ice Mountain brand bottled water to contribute to and support the Flint water crisis in Michigan as he teamed up with Big Sean.

By 2018, following his release from state custody, Mill immediately became a leading advocate of criminal justice reform in the United States, where he transitioned his advocacy into the co-formation of Reform Alliance with fellow recording artist and entrepreneur Jay-Z.

In January 2023, Meek Mill spent time in Ghana performing at the ‘Afro Nation’ concert and shot a music video at the seat of the presidency, a situation that stirred massive reactions online.
