Bat-Sheva Dagan has passed away and she was known as a Polish-Israeli Holocaust survivor, educator, author, and speaker. Born in Łódź, Poland, she was incarcerated in a ghetto in Radom with her parents and two sisters in 1940.

Bat-Sheva Dagan was born in 1925, in Łódź, Poland. She studied at the Shein Teacher’s Seminary in Petah Tikva and afterward worked for three years as a kindergarten teacher in Tel Aviv and Holon.
Bat-Sheva Dagan earned a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1960 to 1963, earning her bachelor’s degree in educational counseling. In 1968 she embarked on a two-year course of study in the United States, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Columbia University.
Bat-Sheva Dagan is survived by her husband and her two sons.
