Despite being a Christian, Big Brother Naija reality show star Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, also known as Doyin, has disclosed why she quit attending church.
The reality star bemoaned the daily decline in the standard of Christianity in response to the story of an American pastor who embezzled $1.3 million from churchgoers.
She did, however, also comment on the kind of attire that honorable and naturally gifted women wear to the chapel. Very awful and disgusting, thus showing their bodies in the church. What is the purpose of their church attendance? she asked.
Doyin posted a screen grab of the article about the American pastor on her Instagram story. “I get asked why I don’t attend church anymore. The reason is ridiculous things like these.
She continued by saying, “Imagine this person saying, ‘You will find people in his church who will defend this madness,’ because God had given him the command to steal.”
“Every day, the bar drops more and farther. These days, it is nearly necessary to be incredibly dimwitted in order to tolerate listening to some sermons. God is incredibly forbearing.
