Charles Titiloye, a former Ondo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, was booed out of office by Ministry of Justice employees on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.
As for Titiloye, the late former governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s appointee, it was reported that the workers had jeered him shortly after Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa dissolved the State Executive Council, SEC.
When the Justice Commissioner arrived for his appointment of the day on Wednesday morning, he found himself in his office right after the news of the resignation.
As he attempted to exit his workplace, he encountered numerous employees who disparaged him for what they perceived to be his arrogance throughout his tenure.
But once the irate employees burst his car’s tires, police officers dispatched to the ministry quickly escorted him away. One of the employees, Evelyn, simply said, “Titiloye Charles frustrated everyone working in the ministry.”
When the late Akeredolu picked him up and left him in the office for all this time is unknown to us. Because of his treatment of us, the court staff once considered going on strike, but we decided against it after receiving an appeal.
He hasn’t been a good person, to be honest. The reason he was the target of jeers is what you should be worried about.
Though Titiloye was jeered, there were three other commissioners present in the facility. That thus speaks volumes about his tenure in government.
